The Agricultural Relief Committee (PARC) is a leading Palestinian non-profit, nongovernmental organization involved in rural development and women's empowerment. PARC provides advice, awareness support, services, and special consultancies for individuals, groups, and institutions involved in similar domains. PARC was founded in 1983 in response to the lack of agricultural extension services for Palestinian farmers.

PARC has awarded a 2 years grant from the Netherlands Representative Office in Ramallah (NRO) to implement phase II of Early Recovery Program in the Gaza Strip. The aim of the program is to respond to the early recovery needs and enhancing the livelihood for poor families and agricultural lands in the Gaza strip. The program will target different locations among the Gaza strip this includes; North, Middle and South areas of the strip in addition to the agricultural quarters in Gaza city (Zayton, Shaaf, Shegaia). The program’s target groups will includes: damaged & small scale farmers, women and unemployed workers (including buffer zone residence).

In this context, PARC invites Palestinian registered organizations working in the Gaza Strip to submit applications for implementing the program’s different interventions in partnership with PARC within the following eligibility criteria and guidelines:

  • Applicant should be registered association, non-profit, non-governmental, and. independent

  • Applicant should have unique and adequate experience in implementing agricultural programs/projects.

  • Applicant should provide full requirements as stated in the partnership form/application.

Deadline for Submission

A complete partnership form/application should be sent to PARC-Early Recovery Program office in hand or by email to partnership@early-recovery.ps , no later than Thursday, July 25, 2010.
