A delegation from PARC and the Arab Agronomist Association (AAA) conducted a field visit to many associations in Jenin district, in order to meet with farmers and follow-up the projects' implementation in general and the activities related to the Global gap project on strengthening capacities of Palestinian farmers for export.

The visit included the cooperatives in Qabatia, Kufur Dan and Birqin; the delegation included Dr. Samer Al- Ahmad the Northern Branch Manager, Mr. Izzat Zeidan Director of Extension Department and project manager, Mr. Saleem Abu Ghazaleh Director of Fair-trade Department, Mr. Usama abu Ali Paltrade representative, Mr. Khaled Mansur project coordinator and a number of agronomist and extension workers from PARC and the AAA.

The visit focused on follow-up to the project "global gap" activities implemented jointly by PARC and AAA. Also the visit included a tour to the strawberry greenhouses being a newly introduced product by PARC through this project to increase farmer's profitability in new crops with diversification from traditional crops, thus finding alternatives to the Israeli agricultural products through the Palestinian producers' abilities to meet consumer needs.
